Project 2: The Space Between (4)

Lumion Environment

the three textures (light, medium, dark) are embedded in the structure

My concept takes in the notion of time. UNSW light rail stop is a place where people start their day and end their day. The paradox of the light rail being a stop doesn’t actually stop because the time is still going. So while it may be the end of the day or the start of your journey, you must keep going. Thus, the use of parametric curve to signify the everlasting flow of life.

Project 2: The Space Between (2)

3 parallel projections with their respective curve

A series of 3 parallel projections exploring the interconnection between pairs of my drawings from the week 1. These pairs are combined from the two concepts initially stated. The curve in the second set of the drawing replicates the Artisan Tool use in SketchUp

Project 2: The Space Between (1)

12 Axonometric Drawings

I started by drawing multiple 45 degree parallel lines in 3 direction: increasing slope, decreasing slope and straight down. This will ensure that my boxes will be based on 45 degree at all angles. After drawing, I then scanned and re-drew it in illustrator for aesthetic purple

Challenge: There was a miscommunication of the bottom view and did not know we had to rotate and flip it. So the first drawing of the bottom view for Aalto and MAD Architect did not match the others
